Here is my newest piece of art for Mother Falcon’s Zombie show in Orlando on October 23rd.
I think I may be the first person to draw Mother Teresa as a zombie (based on google and bing results) so I hope this gets around and gets exposure!

I was asked (told) to put a portrait into the First Thursday show at the Orlando Museum of Art in September.
Multiple large pieces for an October show at Pom Pom’s on Bumby.
Local awesome artist Nyahzul asked if I could put work in possibly 3 other locations.
Busy, busy, busy.

For seven weeks now Denika and I have been painting, cleaning, flooring and moving into our new home. I haven’t drawn a single thing in that time! I hope to get everything done soon and start working on some new art.
In October I’ll have a show with Vaugh Belak at Pom Pom’s on Bumby. Aside from that, on Friday the 13th I’m going to drop off my remaining artwork from my solo show to cloud space up near UCF. I was asked to show my art there in the office space and thought it could be good exposure to a demographic that might not normally see my work.
Aside from that, everything is going well except for the huge water leak I just caused by moving a copper pipe in my yard. Luckily the utility guy came over quickly and shut off the water main. The contractor who worked on our home came over and will help us plug up the pipe. Think of it as our own little BP oil spill, but water and no dead animals and ruined ecosystems!

Today we received a Flickr mail asking for permission to use our zombie/bird illustration for a post on the website “and I am not lying“.
Of course we said yes and they sent us a link to their post.

I haven’t updated in a while due to the craziness and time we’ve put into buying a house. It’s been closed on and we’ve been painting and cleaning up. I hope to do some art again soon but that’s a luxury that can’t spend time on right now!

I put all the unsold paintings in our etsy shop:

I some are getting more hits than others. That’s to be expected. I posted them with the gallery pricing but I doubt they’ll sell for that much online. I think $45 is most I ever made off something on etsy. Very discouraging. Maybe in a couple of years my work will have more public value! I feel they are affordable compared to tons of local art, but times are tough and buying art is a luxury for most people.
Feel free to haggle. I’d rather sell my art at a lower price to someone who loves than put it in my closet and have to move it to the new house.
