Tonight at BOLD HYPE we came across an amazing piece (oil on paper) and couldn’t pass it up. The price was perfect for the size and style. It will be the most striking piece of our collection so far. Can’t wait to rearrange our wall, or put it somewhere else in the apartment.

I look forward to renting/owning a home so we have proper places to showcase our purchases!

Instead of continuing to pay the host costs of meetup.com we decided to start our own blog. It will hopefully become a better replacement for meetup.com with functionality and tools that we didn’t have before.

I registered nihongoorlando.com and now I just have to direct it to our page. Denika, myself and other creative types will be working on its appearance through the next couple of weeks. Japanese Good News on meetup.com will be out temporary base of operation until we’re at a good spot.

Hopefully we can create some new art this year that catches more attention! Denika has been crocheting more critters and I have some new illustrations in the works. We might be in a “couples” art show in February and get a chance to show some of our new art.
